JESUS Is The WAY!

We have an amazing, wonderful extraordinary gift of a new birth that is freely given to us through Jesus Christ! “… inheritance that can NEVER perish, spoil, or fade – kept in Heaven for you, who through FAITH are shielded by God’s power…” I Peter. You can be sure of who you are in Jesus! Praise God!

Maybe you already know some things about God? But in order to further develop and strengthen your personal relationship with Him you must get to know Him better? As believers we must regularly begin to spend some time with Him in His Word and in prayer. His Word is our Spiritual Food! How long do you go without eating? Well! God does not want you ignorant of His ways. You must take the time and dine sumptuously on His spiritually nutritious Word! It is vitally crucial, you spend time with Him and invite His Holy Spirit in to open your spiritual eyes and mind. He is our Guide! You can invite Him into the messiness that always tries to pull you onto the broad road. He can free you of its clutches! As you embrace His Word His Word begins to become “ A lamp unto your feet and a Light unto your path…” Psalm 119.

The world we live in is constantly moving and shifting away from what God has said is right! LOOK! Our country as well as around the world is experiencing and displaying all the signs of what happens when GOD becomes a secondary priority! Jesus came in the flesh to point us back to “God’s Way!” God’s Way is the narrow way! Many do not like the idea of “The Narrow Way!” They will also quite possibly think of you as being narrow minded… It is far better to be spiritually minded than go the way of the world! It is God’s will and Way that you must now diligently seek above all else! The world at large generally wants to find their own way and do their own thing and encourage Christians to do the same. Quite often it is cloaked under the guise of “unconditional love!” Quite often this is the case when one is living in a situation that they do not want to confront…

Always remember you and God are the majority when you are walking in the Spirit!

When you hear that there are many ways or roads to God don’t be surprised? This is Not true! Or when someone says “you can do a lot of good things and this will get you to Heaven…” Not so! We are saved by Grace not works! There are many roads and highways leading to a large metropolis! But this is not true when it comes to JESUS!

Know what the Bible teaches us! The Word says: “I am the Way the TRUTH and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through ME. If you really knew Me you will know My Father as well…” John 14. “There is no other Name under Heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4. Jesus adorned Himself in sinless flesh and overcame sin for us! "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us ..." John 1. JESUS is the only SUPREME PASS WORD by which we can enter Heaven!!! This is a very imperative and a significant foundational principle that will never change!

Jesus Christ is the Head of HIS Church!

Yes you really can know without doubt that the Bible is the Word of God! No the Bible does not contradict itself. It is our “Life Manual” for safe traveling upon the Narrow Way! We can TRUST God’s Word through the FAITH He has instilled within us! Remember JESUS is the PASS WORD! When you Believe; Jesus can and will take you all the way to Heaven! Yes, you will suffer persecution! Yes, you will experience false teachers and worldly people and yes carnal Christians. Yes, you will be misunderstood and perhaps called some of everything but; a child of GOD! There are some things that will not be understood on this side of Heaven! This is the very time when we must hold on to the TRUTH of Jesus Christ teachings and not be tossed to and fro! “Then you will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead speak the TRUTH in Love; we will in ALL things grow up into Him that is the Head, that is Christ…” Ephesians 4.

Know that satan is the father of lies! The devil really is a liar... God is a Spirit of TRUTH! As a believer you must become committed to TRUTH! It is important to pray for discernment!

You can have inner PEACE knowing assuredly Jesus has already prepared a place for you! If you are a believer you can be confident! Jesus is coming back for those of us who have not already gone on! God is able to protect us from ALL evil! We are to shun evil! It is imporatant to be aware of what is going on about you... He can and WILL protect you and not let you be ensared by the entrapments that are set about you! Beneath the surface of everyday life is an ongoing constant power struggle. It is important to know satan’s many deceptive devices and tactics he also seeks to divide and conquer… We overcome evil with GOOD! “But the LORD is faithful and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one…” I Thessalonians 3.

We can look forward and beyond whatever is happening when our HOPE is in the Lord!

Once you get to know HIS WORD you can discover how so much of it has already come to past! Many prophecies in the Old Testament have already been fulfilled as well as in the New Testament. There are so many inspiring, enlightening and invigorating examples in the Bible! It is always important to solicit help of His Holy Spirit when you study His Word. It is not so much about how much you know and quote, but more important that you know, believe and then implement what you study and learn and apply to your own life!

You can be certain the Bible is true! The Bible is the inspired Word of God! “Do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of TRUTH. Avoid godless chatter…” II Timothy 2. There will always be those who want to argue but the Word of God can stand for itself! “For the WORD of GOD is living and Powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword , piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart! And there is no creature hidden from HIS sight, but ALL things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4. Jesus became the living Word in sinless flesh! He is alive! There is nothing else like the WORD!!! God’s Word is where we receive our required spiritual food! You actually grow spiritually as you put into practice whatever your are learning.

God is Awesome ! You can elect to choose to just continue on the way you have been going. But you will get the same results. You can listen to what others say about Jesus and the Word but you still have to get to know Him personally for yourself! His Holy Spirit will begin to write His laws upon your heart as you really begin to walk with Him! “I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be MY people…” Hebrews 8.

Your conscience will gradually become more and more sensitive to what is right and wrong as you grow spiritually! Your desire to live to please the Lord will grow as well. The Fruit of HIS Spirit will become more apparent in your life! This is a journey like no other; life really takes on a whole new meaning with purpose, promise and yes HOPE!

If you are at a point in your life and you are not sure what to do! If the enemy has positioned himself around you or your love ones... Or if it seems like your world is turning upside down or and there is just an empty void? God really can and will make all the difference in the world. One must just diligently PRAY and pursue Him with a sincere heart! He knows our hearts! He knows who is His! As I said before; this does not mean that everything will work out the way you want, when you want, or how you want! God is Not a genie! God does not act without purpose! When it is not clear what direction to go; Know the storm does not last forever! This too will pass! He can and will talk you through... Keep waiting on the Lord He always has something better for us! Everything is under HIS control!

TRUST The LORD! Through JESUS CHRIST you WILL have THE VICTORY!

In His time He will work everything out in a way that is best for you! “But those that wait on the Lord shall RENEW their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40.

When Jesus becomes Lord of your life, as you get to really know Him your Faith is activated as you step out on it… Your doubts and fears decrease as you know and TRUST without doubt He is the only Sovereign God! They gradually diminish as your belief in His Word are strengthened and FAITH enhanced. Your awareness and discernment are sharpened! A powerful, formidable unshakeable foundation built on Faith and Trust in Him is reinforced lifelong as you travel the narrow path accompanied by His Grace which is accompanied by His unmerited favor. The choice is always yours because He gives you the freedom to choose.

Let me share with you who Jesus is and what He has done for us! This passage of Scripture merits deep contemplation and introspection there is much here to behold! “For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of HIS Son He LOVES, in whom we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible GOD the firstborn of ALL creation. For by HIM ALL things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, ALL things were created by HIM and for HIM! He is before ALL things, and in HIM ALL things hold together. And He is the HEAD of the body, the CHURCH; He is the beginning and the firstborn from the dead, so that in everything He might have the Supremacy. For God was pleased to have ALL HIS fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself ALL things whether things on earth or in heaven, by making PEACE THROUGH HIS BLOOD HE SHED ON THE CROSS!” Colossians 1. Now that is POWERFUL!

Always keep this in mind about Jesus! Don’t limit Him to our little limited finite minds. God is Infinite! He is Sovereign! Please take some time and really meditate on the above scripture! Know that it is true! Never let anyone make you doubt who JESUS is! It is important to know that walking in the flesh hinders your journey and causes one to often take detours. The enemy attempts to derail you and put distractions in your life of all sorts... His Holy Spirit can get you back on the right track! The world beckons us daily to step out on to the broad road and utilize its many carnal inducements to satisfy the flesh; Rather than walk in the Spirit. As His ever growing children we are in constant need of the presence of His Holy Spirit which is our Spiritual Chaperone ever present to keep us from the plethora of temptations. Know God never tempts us! "No temptation has seized you which is common to man. And God is Faithful; He will not let you be tempted above what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." I Corinthians 10.

The Word of God has cleansing Power!

We must pray and ask “Lord increase our FAITH !” This is why we say “The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me besides quiet waters, He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness for His namesake. Even though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I fear NO evil for you are with me…” Psalm 23.
